Marine Safety - Immersion/Dry/Work Suits

An immersion suit is a type of a waterproof dry suit.  Am immersions suit is designed to protect the wearer from hypothermia if immersed in cold water or if they have to abandon their vessel especially in the open ocean.  There are two type of immersion suits, work suits these are to be worn for long periods in high risk environments, and the other type of suit is a survival suit these suits are to be worn during emergencies.
