Camping - FRS/GMRS Radios

Camping with FRS/GMRS radios making communicating with one another easy. Walkie talkies have a wide range of coverage depending on the model that you get.   The Family Radio Service (FRS) is a private, two-way, short-distance voice and data communications service for facilitating family and group activities. GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) radios have designated channels with frequencies that aren't available to the FRS radio. GMRS radios are more powerful. 

The FRS is authorized 22 channels in the 462 MHz and 467 MHz range, all of which are shared with General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS) which requires an individual license for use.
