Marine Hardware - Oarlocks

Oarlocks are used to secure and support the boat's oars when you are rowing.  An oarlock is attaches an oar to the side of the rowboat. Most oarlocks are built into the sides of the boat. You are less likely to lose an oar if you have an oarlock on your boat.  Oarlocks also provide a base and act like fulcrum for the oars.
